New angel not eating!

I added a passer angel Sunday afternoon. I bought him from petco (I know) because he looked really good. I may have made a mistake in my exitement and failed to ask to see him eat. He's a male about 4.5 inches in length. Water is good; my trigger, foxface etc are all as happy as can be. The new angel has yet to eat. He spends most of his time in a cave and only comes out occasionally. I've offered krill, mysis shrimp, pellets, nori and marine cuisine. Any ideas on how to coax him to eat?

Not a surprise, some angles are hard to get acclimated. Try adding some garlic to the food (soak for ~10 minutes before putting food in the tank), and don't hesitate to look into some of the angel specific foods out there (frozen stuff which includes sponge... part of their natural diet).

I took 5 for my Yellow Tang to come around... I wouldn't worry until about a week.

He's just spooked, he's probably just fine. I agree that live brine or food soaked in garlic will coax him to eat, hopefully. Good luck!
