neon Gobies

My friend got a mated pair of neon gobies. Which is the bigger of the two, male or female??

not sure, just wondering if he got the blues or the golds?

not really easy to tell who is who. the male genital in front of the anal fins shoudl be cone shaped then have a pointy tip. Females yuou shoudl not see until breeding time..

Please realize that your friend picked up some very hard to keep gobies. they will eat soem meaty foods but do a lot of cleaning of fish for their food. Since we have a pretty clean closed system they do not get a lot of food..
if they have not picked out a hole to live in, if he wants to try and breed them , try picking up a PVC pipe and sorta bury it so they can live in it
