Question

Need Sugestions

I am going to roder some supplies soon and i was just looking for some advice on what to get. I need an algae acraper my ol Tetra Tec broke i was probably going to get a kent scraper, good choice or bad choice? I need a test kit too, right now my lfs tests my water for free but they cant test calcium and phosphate, only the basics. I was thinking of getting the sea test muti kit, but if there are any other good multi kits let me know. Last but not leats i am going to get activated carbon, anyone have any suggestions on what kind to get? Thanks

Of the basic kits, I like the Sea or Fast test better than the cheaper ones, but I have been getting Salifert for all the critical stuff, FWIW

I have all Salifert test kits. if you want a scraper for coralline than credit card will do, otherwise I use a $3 one from P*tco, I have been thinking about getting a magnetic scraper but I am still trying to justify spending $20 on 1

I use the Kent pro scraper and like it alot - works well. any of the basic test kits will do for ammonia and nitrIte, but for the others something more precise like the Salifert kits are the way to go. I don't buy carbon, I just use those inserts for the emperor filters that have carbon already in them - I'm lazy.
