Need stand ideas for 150g peninsula
Was wondering if anyone could offer up pics of peninsula tanks. I need to get some ideas on how to design a stand for mine.
Thanks

I had SoCalCreations build the tank for me. It's 48"x30"x24".
Carl's tank rules...I was thinking of making the aquascape in a series of towers using acrylic rods but....Carl has some sweet platues and using reef cement seems to be a bit easier. I like the caves he had.
I also checked out gregt's post a couple days ago (great post by the way)....I'd love to dedicate a room for my tank but, I don't have that kind of space.....but it sure is an awesome set up! I think I'm looking more for a free standing cabinet/stand.

Thanks...didn't know what CTC was but did a search. I was trying to go Calfo but, externally to get a cleaner look.

Our 120g is *****ula style but the overflow in inside the tank. There is an extra pvc pipe in the overflow that all the wiring (lights and fans) from the canopy runs through into the base cabinet. Then there is 1 hole in the wall end of the cabinet for electrical cords out to the outlet.
Not sure if this is of any assistance to you but here are a couple of pictures.

Just one other note:
The wooden trim you see on the corners of the tank are removable (velcro tabs) so that you can move a magfloat around the corner of the tank while cleaning.

This is how my 90gal stand looks. Canopy has 2 doors on each side for access. The stand it self has 3 doors for access to the sump and electrical and an additional end peice has 1 door for access ro plumbing. These were taken a few months back. I don't have any good up todaye pics now that is is stocked. hope this helps.

Great pics guys! That's a pretty neat idea with velcro. How do you two have your fans rigged (if any)? Do you have vents in the top of the canopy?

There are 4 fans inside the canopy that vent out through holes in the top and 1 fan inside at the opposite end from the overflow that blows across the surface of towards the overflow (just for circulation).

Doesn't look like you get alot of light spill....how did you manage that? I have 2 Lumenarc reflectors and I plan to run some t5s too. I was thinking about using a bathroom fan? If I don't have too...that'd be cool.
