Need ideas for new tank

I'm getting ready to set-up my 75g tank, but I'm not sure what to put into it.

I have already made commitments on the lighting:
550 watts PC.

So, what would you do with this tank and lighting?

I've already got the 125g tank with LPS and SPS. I'm looking for something special; a unique environment.

if you were in the northeast i would have suggested a cold water tank, if you had an extra chiller lying around also.

what about what you can collect by you.

Set up an anemone tank. A couple clowns and a few other interesting fish. Plenty of open water. Would be a cool tank to stare at.

muchoreef has a zoo tank that is awesome, but I have always wanted a brain tank. There are so many colors and shapes and sizes and variations.

Hey Geoff,

I'm in Northern California, but not very close to the coast.

I'm definitely leaning towards something tropical, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a specific animal. Like maybe a special type of eel or I may try an octopus(high degree of difficulty). Some kind of aggressive, stunning predator.

I do like the anemone idea. Those tube anemone's are beautiful. Are clowns immune to the tube anemone's as well? I've heard they are very aggressive. I know that my BTA stings everything in its area. do different types of anemone's sting each other?

Some great ideas so far..... keep'um comin.

My next tank will be a FOwLR. So many cool fish you can't put in a reef... Butterflys, Flame angels, wrasses... the list is a lot longer than reef/invert-safe fish.

how about a sargassum(sp?) tank. there are a lot of cool fish that live in that stuff.

get rid of the lights and go for a flashlight fish or someother bioilluminescent critters.

more ideas, that i would be interested in trying anyway.

this is to much fun.
