Need ID -- weird growth

Hey all,

Any idea what this little colony might be? I just discovered two of these patches of weird growth -- both of them in low-light areas. Neither is near any corals, but the one pictured is right next to where my wrasse sleeps.

probably a sponge of dome kind

its really hard to tell, it almost looks like a colt/kenya tree spawn taking root, or maybe colonial hydroids, alot of people have been getting those lately.

Thanks. The picture makes it look grey, but it's really more white. And like I said, both growths are in very low-light areas, under overhangs.
