Need help with Brain/Favia

I have had a Pineapple brain for about 6 months. It is starting to look pretty bad. In the midle where the mouths are supposed to be are starting to show skeleton. 20% of the brain still has mouths on it. When I try to feed it it gets a film over the brain and it traps brine and other food in the film. I have the brain at the top of the tank. The current is medium on it. I have dual 250 MH. Just wondering why this is happening and if the brain can be saved. It is a beautiful flourescent green and it is not loosing its color but the mouths are disappearing? Please help!!!!!!!

Oh, Something that I can't understand-I have a maze brain as well that has been doing great for a year now?! It even is starting to grow on the rock it is mounted on! That just puzzles me that the maze can do so good and the pineapple is struggling so?

maybe try moving it around a little. maybe it is getting to much light. is it the top that is starting to show skeleton? have you checked all your paramaters. Ca and Alk are prolly the most important to the Favia. assuming the others are normal.

Yeah, I dose everyday and everything is normal. I've tried moving it around but no luck?
