need help uploading pics?

I've tried several times to upload a pic here... just one pic which is saved to a file on my computer... every time I try to upload one pic (can you really only do one pic at a time?) I get this message:

There were 1 files which exceeded limits which do not appear in this list:
Berns_and_me.JPG (exceeds filesize limit).
Either remove files to make more room or reduce the size of the files you are uploading and then try again.
I wanted to move all my tank pics here cuz I'm here so much, but if I have to figure out a way to resize all of these pics every time I want to upload one then I'm not going to bother... the other boards I just make a list of pics and click "upload" and in about a minute, bang, there they are.

Any help will certainly be appreciated! Thanks!

odds are the file size that you are trying to upload is to large. I had this problem. now I use www.photobucket.com. setup an acct there and you can upload pictures to your acct with them, when you do this it auto resizes the pictures for you to a size that is exceptable for TRT.
when uploading the pics to photobucket it may take a min or two, but it is very easy. good luck
once you have uploaded teh pics, just open them in photobucket right click on them, hit copy go into TRT and hit paste.

read this thread it will help

http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=52564

Generally you have to do two things, you need to resize the pic, and you need to optimize it (which means compression.)

oh goodness, I'll just keep my albums at fishgeeks, it's so easy there, and the same format as the pony forum I am at... just add photo files and upload and I can do ten pics at a time. Thank you for trying to help tho!
