NEed Help-Skimmer, microbubbles

for a week my skimmer has been just pouring out microbubbles like crazy and everything i do wont fix it. i need help! any suggestions? i have a Coralife superskimmer 65

I had a superskimmer 65 as my first skimmer. It ran microbubbles for 2-3 weeks. You have to use RO water with it...or your asking for trouble. if you dont have an auto top off.....then your also asking for trouble. Its very sensitive to water chemisty changes. It skims great! But its very touchy. As long as you dont mind tinkering with it a lot.....you will like it. Give it time, it will build up the coating inside it needs to stop with the microbubbles.

i have had this skimmer for a year and just now it decided to do this. and yes i do use ro/di water. i dont have a auto top off system but i do top off with water very regularly to make sure the water stays the same.

maybe that's it i recently cleaned the thing out with bleach and ro/di water. i guess i have to let it break in again. i have had it unpluged(on and off) for a week now because it just make my tank look white with bubbles. and its very annoing

I bought mine used and it is HOB... I cleaned the crap out of it and when I turned it on the first time my whole tank filled with micro bubbles... Scared the crap out me... Then it would only happen for a few hours after doing water changes... Not anymore though... probably just wait it out...
