Need help-quick. Species ID

I have a hitchhiker crawling over my polyps. Is it simply cleaning the rocks or is it eating my polyps. Almost shaped like a limpet, but no shell at all. What is it, do I need to get it out, and can I touch it?

Thank you,
Alex

it definately looks like a shroom. how fast is it moving? shrooms can "walk" to different places but this is not a "quick" moving action. its could be moving towards the light.

It might move a couple of inches an hour. I'm not sure if the hole on top is the mouth, or rather a waste hole, such as a limpet.

It is roundish/oval shaped. Are flatworms shaped in this fashion?

You can't see under it and the outer edges are like a ruffled blanket.

use something to pick up the edges and check for a stem.

looking at the pic again it appears to have a "stem" but it could be the base of one of the polyps. can you get a pic at a different angle?

it looks like a limpet to me. keep an eye on it. since it is out in the open i would be inclined to believe it is an algae eater. if it only stays in a certain area, than i would start to get a bit worried if corals in that general area start dissappearing.
