need help on a coral

hiyas all

i need suggestions on a coral

i have a bare spot on the botton of my 180gal tank, right in the corner, this is due to the fact that my eductor is pointed in this corner and subsuquently has blown all the sand out of the said corner

i am looking for a coral that will withstand and prosper with constant flow, about 1000 gal and hour i am guessing.

any ideas ???

thanx in advance

How much light do you get down there? There are some really high flow SPS like hysinth, that might be able to adapt provided the tissue didn't come right off.

This water flow is coming from the other corner of the tank (6 foot away) right?

Whiskey

Whiskey

it gets full light from the aquapro MH light, 150w, the flow is indirect not staright on, so that should kinda help keep the tissue on the coral

and no. my 180 gal tank is 4' long x 3' wide x 2' tall

just about any SPS would work. i have had SPS growing about 18" from the nozzle of one of my eductors.

with a 24" tall tank, you might have trouble keeping SPS all the way at the bottom with only a 150 watt MH

the birds nest would be a fine choice. they need all the flow they can get when they start getting big.

I agree, birdsnest will probably work quite well. Due to lack of light I was also thinking monti digi.
