Need help in setting up my tank.
Ok heres an update:
I have the 75 Gallon RR tank, canopy, and cabinet/ stand.
I have a little giant return pump, a PM bullet one with gate valve, Mag 12 pump for the skimmer, and a 3/4 in sea swirl.
I want to really have a nice mixed reef.
I still dont know what to do for circulation or lighting.
I need some reccomendations for any other equipment I should have and for the circulation and lighting.
Also, what do you think of the equipment I have so far?
Thank for the help!

Get metal halides for light, that covers all bases. And I love my Hydor Koralis for water flow (no idea if I spelled it right)

since you want a mixed reef, i would go with a pair of 250w metal halides for lighting (you can find used retro kits for pretty cheap).
for circulation, i HIGHLY recommend the Hydor Koralias, a couple of 3's would probably be great for a 75g tank.

Sounds similar to mine. I have a 90 gal. I went BB and used a PM bullet 1 (replica) works GREAT. I also have a Little giant but mine is used on a CLS. I have a mag 12 running the PM bullet 1 and a mag 9.5 for the return. In addition to the CLS I put (3) Tunze 6025 Nano's in the tank.
I was going to go with the Hydors BUT they seemed to BIG! Because I went BB I decided to go with 175W MH with 54W T5 actinics. I only have 1 SPS so I will soon find out if there is enought light for him. If you are interested I will try to dig up my build thread and post it. Mine is a mixed reef as well.........still in progress.

I will have that sea swirl going on the return line.
You think that in combination with maybe 2 koralia 4's would be good?
I am totally retro- disadvantaged. I have no idea how to set one up.
I also do not think the one can be mounted in the way my canopy is designed. Id rather go with a fixture.

i think the 4's might be a bit much for a 75. a friend of mine stuck a 4 in his old 75 (now a 180) and it caused the biggest sandstorm i have ever seen, and that was just 1 #4.

I guess altering the canopy could be an option to acccomatate pentant retros. Can you share some brands or links on cheap retros with bulbs?

COOL!
I am going to push the Tunze 6025 on you a bit more if you don't mind.....
Honestly they are nice and small the rotate any way you could ever want......and if you get the cheaper 6025's there is a stupidly easy mod that boost the flow somthing fierce.
And I will also push the 175W MH....not from my own experience but just from what I have read on BB tanks. Seems like everyone with the 250W had to cut down the photo period and raise the lights way up when they went BB to prevent bleaching.......so I figured with 175W I could keep them on longer.
