yeah sorry i musta worded it poorly, well he said he had it for less then a year , is it worth it?

It depends, mostly on the filters. If its still hooked up ask him to read off the TDS numbers. It looks like its got two meters on there.

That will give you a better idea on the filter membrane condition. If you need to change all of the filters, it may not be such a good deal. How much are replacements?
