Need help!!

Ok , I've looked and looked and looked for the enswer to this, so I'm leaving it up to you guys (and gals). I have hundreds of small creatures (thinking they are worms) that are clear, small ( as wide as a spider web strand), and about 1-1 1/2 inches long. They are everywhere. They seem to flow in the current, but can retract when they want. They are coming out of my substrate, live rock, and now frogspawn. They makethe tank look horrible. Im sorry I do not have a pic because they are too small to catch on camera ( tried several times). I believe they are young bristleworms, but not sure. Whatever they are.....HOW DO I KILL THEM?

they are great worms to have. great scavengers. how much are you feeding the tank? their populations are tied to the amount of food in the tank.

I have some similar things, but they only come out at night, and are very sensitive to light (will retract if i put a flash light to the tank). I believe they are a type of hydroid, but a harmless one. Yours sound like they are out all the time, no? I imagine there are some fish that could devour the population, but someone else would have to chime in on that (I'm thinking a sixline wrasse, but maybe something else).

really dont know what they are. Looks like single strands of spider web about 1 inch long all over my tank. I dont feed very much, I have 1 percula clown to feed, everything else is clean up crews.
