OK with the inner box, water drains down till the Utube sucks air, when the power comes back on it pumps everything in the sump return section into the tank, THE siphon broke so the overflow DON'T work probably overfilling the tank

but the same thing would happen if you used the skimmer box in the tank.

pics please... i need to see what the deal is with the overflow box is on the tank.. you really need to use the inner box unless the overflow on the aquapod is totally sealed off from the main tank are and if the power failed the u tube woould stay submerged and not be able to loose the siphon... if it looses siphon you will end up with a flood...
