Need copy of Windows 98 2nd edition
OK, this is so far off topic it needs it's own zip code.
After canvassing four islands so far, I've yet to come up with a copy of Windows 98 2nd edition that I can borrow. Soooo, it looks like I'm going to have to buy one.
Does anyone know where I can look? any idea of prices?
See, Doug and Alice aren't the only computer wizz's out there. I've managed to break mine too.

I may have a copy here in my backpack at work. I installed it, but my PC at home couldn't handle it, so I uninstalled it. I would assume that would make it legal to transfer to you, since you would be the only owner....
Let me know if you are interested, and I will make sure it is 2nd ed.

Mine is 2nd edition for PC's without Windows.
If you had a full crash or have wiped/installed a new HD, then mine would be for you. Jeff's might be for upgrading.

Now Jorge says he needs the Windows Start up disk too. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
Might as well bite the bullet and call Office Depot tomorrow.

Jerel, got your email, no prob!go spend some $$$$$, tight pockets!  planning on getting down there soon,,(wife sez we can do a vacation this year,,,hopefully she is on the same track as me as where,,,)gotta go dive the "two part" Eagle(was one piece last time i was there,,),,and mebbe the "Spiegle" if and when it gets to the bottom,,,Stay Warm,,,

Jerel, "Home " is a relative term,,,,in a prior life mebbe,,,it's just my home away from home , til i have my ashes scattered over "Arno's Reef" heheh,,,
