Need an opinion

Ok I have gone Saltwater crazy. i for real need a dog or a kid or somthing. My girlfriend and friends think I need to FA (Fish anonymous) meetings. I started with a 54 corner then I built a small refu 20 gal. then I aquired a 30 gallon hex. then i aquired a 110. Now I have a comuntiy going on. all with common water. 54 is the reef tank. complete with a dwarf Lion ( That eats all the time, Ghost ship get expensive) 110 is a tank where all the fish I wanted go that are not reef safe. and the 33 is my peacful chillin tank. no one in there ever get angey or worked up. if they do the get moved to the hostel tank. I do have a question. its comming soon.
Any way, have an old 20 gallon that was bult into a refu. complete with lexan all over the place in there. well here is what I want. I want an all clown anome tank. So I want to pull the Lexan out cover it with chicken wire then give it a 5/1 argonite concrete dip and make the lexan chambers into caves for the clown. and rather than just buying live rock and putting it together. make my own live rock. and giving the ank algey boosts while im wainting for the rock to get going. of course doing this before putting fish in. Does this sound completely wacked out? I'll post project pic for status Just so there is proof of what an idiot I am

Question is.....Does this sound like a plan that will work, even though its completly a wack Idea?

The ony wack part of the idea is the chicken wire. Keep metal of almost any kind away from the tank. Chicken wire is made of iron, zinc, tin, antimony, etc. which would not be good. I think you'll find that the aragonite concrete will hold up without any supporting structure, or if you think you do need some, use some plastic mesh or eggcrate (the stuff used for fluorescent light diffusers) for internal support. You might want to use it instead of the lexan, as the arago crete mix won't adhere well to the lexan. Go to http://www.garf.org for more "Wack" ideas.

Sorry to disappoint you but we're not like your friends. What others think of as "Wack" we take as perfectly normal. Check out Anthony Calfo's books, he might be on the fringe enough for you!

yup Garf.ORG has a lot on making your own. you can look in the DYI section here too. another thing you can do is get some base rock ( usally cheap) aand drill wholes for posts and glue or attach them to geqather to "make " your cave..

we want a full picture of all the steps!
