n00b Lighting Question

In my 45H, I have a coralife 2x96 50/50 actinic retrofit light... In the store, the torch coral tips glowed intensely, but in my tank, they don't really seem to glow. They have been in there about two hours. Will they glow under my lights or was the lighting they were under in the store different? mh or something else?

its a hard coral, so my Q is in the store was it under MH, and where in the tank did you plave it, I think atinics may be to weak for torch, I have tried ellegance under PC and another hard and they perish within months

I was wondering what it was under at the store.

I put the coral mid tank (that is as high as my LR currently goes)

I thought that with 4 WPG that i could grow just about anything. Is this not true? (I understand that may be different on the bottom of the tank)

I am sorta wondering the same thing. Is having 200W of PCs the same as having 200W of MH? Or is the MH light better than PC light?
