My water change water is cloudy

So I used my RO unit for the first time to make salt water. Then I mixed it in a seperate bucket with power head and heater. It has been running like that for 2 days and the water looks cloudy. Should I use or start over?

I personally would start over,.. Remember to burn the first 10G out of the RO before hooking up the DI on a new unit, or new filters, and then burn the first gallon or two out of the DI before you start to use the filter.

I knew you would come through for me Whiskey! Why can't I just run the system RO and DI for 15 gallons?

Clear out junk from the DI resin or filter in general and the carbon!

Lol,.. I'm here for you Joanne

If you've already made some water with it then dont' worry about it now,.. but there is allot of stuff that comes out when you first fire up the RO side IME,.. (they pack the RO cartrige in some stuff to prevent mold,.. plus just the junk in the canisters from MFG/Shipping) if you have the DI connected then it tends to use up your resin very fast,... So don't be too supprized if your first batch of DI resin doesn't last very long.

All that junk is coming out of the filters from storage and manufacturing....thus why your water is cloudy at first.

Your not necasarilly technically challeged as I am typing simple explantions that make sense challenged!
