My tunze 6025 broke. what do I do?

hey all,

the power wne out today. when it came back on, niether of my 2 tunze 6025's would work. one, I got working (the impeller was just froze up for some reason). I took the other apart, and found that the impeller was broken. The metal shaft that runs on the inside of the impeller was sheared off. what do I do? I have only had these pumps sinse August. they were bought brand new.

please help.

I can't find a replacement impeller anywhere.

Go to reef central and look at the Tunze vendor forum, get Tunze USAs number and call or email them

I'm sure they will take care of you in short order...

Rogers the coolest guy as far as customer service goes. I actually just got my 6045 in the mail today, as a defective replacement. My metal propeller shaft inside came off though, and kept clacking. Send it in, you got 2 years

I agree, Tunze has the best customer service. My 6055's were making a clicking sound whenever they powered up. Did a Google search and found out it was a common problem for a certain number of them. Messaged Roger over at RC. He said they were out of stock of the replacement propeller but expected a shipment the following week.

I though I would have to message him again to see if the part arrived. Nope. Came home one day to see a package from Tunze waiting for me. It was a pair of propellers- shipped at no cost.

I'll forever be a lifelong customer with service like that.

they definitely support their products well. Unlike other European manufacturers, they put a lot of effort into warranty work on their stuff. With most European manufacturers it takes weeks to get a part shipped from overseas, but Tunze is usually on the ball.

you can do a search on this forum to find the contact info, I just got back two 6045's cause of broken propeller shafts.

Quick shipping even, I'll be buying more tunze stuff just cause of there customer service, its cool to see a company stand behind there stuff.
