How slow are we talking? I took half the bio out 3 weeks ago, the rest tonight. Will probly change a foam next week and some carbon the week after? The only thing is everytime i start the pump back up tons of stuff come flying out, making my tank messy.... Any suggestions?

I had a wet dry with allot of bio balls and I took about 1/4 a week out. So all and all it took me a little over a month to rmove all of them but I'm sure my wet dry held allot more than your fluval. I think you should be fine. As far as that stuff I use to get that every time I cleaned my fluval and it never hurt anything so I wouldn't worry to much about it. Sounds like your doing a great job!
