My tang will eat anything but NORI, any ideas on how to get him to eat it?

My blue tang will eat flake food and any kind of frozen food that I can fathom but for the life of me I can't get him to eat nori,

Any ideas on how to accomplish this? I have tried garlic but it does no good.

Today I tried grinding it up kinda like flake food and he ate some but then spit it out when he realized it was not flake.

I bought some algae pellets and he will nip on that throughout the day which I hope is a good supplement for the nori.

What do you guys think?

you can grind it up and mix it with a bunch of other foods like a kind of your own mix, works fine, but not sure about with the nori and should work well

How are you feeding the Nori? If you are using a clip try rubberbanding it to some rubble and dropping it in the tank

Yeah or if you have a small piece of rock you can use from the tank he may go for it if it's on rock like he woud naturally pick at algae

I think the Blues aren't as crazy about nori as the Yellows and Purples are. My Purple tang tears the hell out of nori within seconds. My Blue "copies" him by coming over and having a nible or two.
This is from marinedepotlive.com about Blues:
Diet: The Paracanthurus hepatus is a herbivore and likes to eat Prefers meaty diet to 'supposed' algal died. Feed mysid shrimp and other meaty treats but include Spirulina, Romaine Lettuce (blanched) , and fresh seaweed
