My Sixline Wrasse is a bully...

I bought a Sixline Wrasse and a small False Perc from the LFS about 3 weeks ago. I wanted to a few more fish and figured that these guys would get along with our pair of Firefish. These guys acclimated well and everything seemed fine. Our Sixline spent the entire day cruising around and picking at everything. He's a really beautiful fish and very cool to watch. My wife and I are now seeing that the Sixline is harrassing the Firefish when they're out and about. He doesn't bother the Perc, but he definitely makes sure that everyone knows he's there. The Firefish don't have any signs of stress and they're not missing any fins, but I'm still concerned.

Has anyone else had this problem? Will the Sixline eventually leave everyone alone?

My 6 line did not like any fish added after him, since firefish are jumpers anyway, I bet he is going to end up out of the tank soon (so make sure that top is covered).

Most times eventually my 6 line calmed down, but there is one time he didn't, and so he went back to the LFS.

I think that I am just going to take him back to the LFS. I paid considerably more for the pair of Firefish than I did for the Sixline, so I think he's got to go. Now I just have to catch the booger.

6 lines are very fast and hard to catch. I spent a long time this weekend trying to catch mine. He ended up going in a hole in a rock so I just picked up the whole rock and put it in the bucket. My 6-line has always harrassed my percs but they never show any signs of damage so I just keep them all.

My 6 line makes a run at things once in a while. Never hurts anything. If I watch real close, I have noticed that it's usually in a response to something one of the other fish has done to him. He "don't put up with no foolin' around".

yep, Six-lines can be a real problem. I don't know why LFS's don't tell people more about their tendency to be very aggressive. They should be a final addition to your community probably instead of an early one.
