My scopas tang is in trouble, HELP!
Well I did a water change, and now hes acting funky. He used to be very shy and now I can put my finger next to him and he wont dart away. He just got stuck to my powerhead twice but I pushed him off within a second of it happening. Hes swimming like hes drunk.
No ICK, no previous signs of bad health and I did a water check and all my params are fine.
I dont have a QT and I dont know what is happening to him,

Sorry to hear about the fish trouble. Has your fish been eating normally? I don't know too much about scopas tangs, but I'll bump your thread for you. Good luck.

well hes just resting on a rock at the moment, his breathing seems normal but he isnt moving around like he usually does. He normally floats in the little tunnels I made but he is kind of resting inbetween some rocks. His color is fine, his eyes and fins look great I have no idea what is going on with him. My clowns are doing great too... odd

I had a yellow tang that got stuck in the power head for about 5 seconds and he looked drunk afterwards too. I found him the next morning under a rock and I thought he was dead because it didn't look like he was breathing. When I went to scoop him out of the tank he started swimming around, so I set up my QT and hoped for the best. He didn't make it though... getting sucked into the power head is pretty traumatic. I hope yours pulls through! Good luck!
