my reef tank webpage


HEy all

I am building my webpage and I need some input on what you think of ot as of now. It will be updated every other day and when I get something new, so please check it out.

I took a look at your tank. So far so good! I do have a question. What are you using for protein skimmer? Looks like a Skilter? Since you have a lionfish in there, you might consider getting a better skimmer.. since the waste from lionfish can be a lot.

Pik the lion is in a different tank.
Hung looks good, but a word of advice from someone who just had a near meltdown due to saltwater and electrical plugs, mount the power strip up on tha wall at least a foot higher than it is now so any splash/leak will drip down the cord and onto the floor rather than into the sockets
Dont sweat the cyano it will pass in time. I really dont recommend using antibiotics to treat it. Its hard on the micro critters and it can get resistant to the drug

Like doug said my lion has his own den and set-up. And my cyano bloom is disappearing just a few strands here and there but not as bad as in pics.

Hi Hung,
Nice tank so far. I like the way you put the powerheads in the sump instead of the tank. More room for corals! Bob
