My possible LFS blunder.

Hello everyone so like I went to my local fish store today to get my water tested since I just recently complated my cycle, the next thing that I know I am placing a deposit on my baby gold stripe maroon clown yea !

But then the noob side of me took over he explained to me that maroon clowns can be very aggressive if allowed to establish a territory without other tank mates the next thing that I know.

I was paying for a lionfish .....which I dont know the difficulty level of keeping one and a puffer fish....

The main reason that I decided on this was because I am 100% sold on atleast one clownfish to cute to pass up imo, but I know that I would like oher fish in the future so I felt the pressure.

This is my first SW tank and I have a 60 gallon FO tank any advice on my decision as I can probaly change my mind on saturday if you guys think that it was a bad move.

Also i am open to any other suggestions as to what fish will co exist with a maroon clown. i might trade the lionfish for a bloe tang .

just depends on the fish, we have an undulated at our store in with a 3ft horned shark and a decent sized sting ray and he gets after the shark during feeding time we housed with a large sweet lips which he ate killed another trigger the same size as him they are straight mean thats for sure

Does the clown have yellow stripes yet? If so its not a baby they start like a maroon. When they start maturing the yellow stripes come in. IME
