Nice setup.. and good save.. I heard that squirrel was on his way over

I have installed a few of those booster pumps at the Roper Mountain Science Center here in Greenville. They have over 5000 gallons of SW display (not including the 1000 gallons of mixed SW and RODI or the filtration equipment and FW systems)

Make sure you adjust the booster correctly, I had to play with them for about an hour to get the pressure and operation correct.

gotta be quick around here with the pictures
i have the chrome bypass valve just about closed.
the factory setting for the shutoff was around 80psi but the pump will not get to that. it's a 150gpd unit so it should make 6gal. of water an hour with the right temperature and pressure at 75psi. it's been running for a half hour now and has made around 2 1/2gal. temp is 73degrees so i think it's working right.

Sounds good... the squirrel is usually a little more lenient, but since someone woke it up so early today it figured it may as well react pretty quickly to threads like this one

you should of broke it out
but i was wrong about the pump not reaching 80psi. if i shut the bypass valve all the way it will reach it no problem.

Just make sure to check the instructions.. I believe that it says somewhere that running it above 20psi above incoming water pressure can cause damage and excessive wear to the pump or something like that...if i recall correctly

im looking at the instructions now and it dosen't say.
but i do remember reading that it can add 20 to 30psi. to any system.
pressure in to the house is 30psi. i will stay with running at 40psi. on and 60psi. off. seems to be working well
