My new 300Gal Sump (a Kruger Sump)

My Reef Caoch (Simon Kruger) and I built and plumbed a 300gal Kruger sump. Well, this is not a real kruger sump, it is a budget one. Simon has a 4'x8'x2' acrylic sump and all the componets of my sump are all incorporated in his. His is ver compact, very clean looking, and lots of $$$. Mine is big and cheap(er)
I am now an official Reefer. I have two frags and will get a cean crew tomorrow

Before the Pics I will give a brief exlanation of the flow.
Tank > to first 150 gallon > flow to the second 150 gal sump > return to tank.

Back pressure from return feeds my giant skimmer, but before the water enters the skimmer it goes through my UV.

the water change station is where I will make 100 Gal of water mix/heat it. I will then turn a valve and pump out 100 gal from the bottom sump and it drains into to a rain gutter down spout and out into the woods behind my house. One the water is pumped out I will turn a valve and all the water from my water change statin will flow into my bottom sump and presto!!! I am done and didnt even get my hands dirty.

i would like to say thanks to all of you at TRT. You guys rock. But i would also like to say thanks to what I call my "Reef Coach" Simon Kruger. He taught me a lot and this sump a budget copy of his.

I cant believe I am now a reefer.

I guess it does in the photo, but there is actually about 3 inches to the top. If my overflows drain on my tank it will not even raise the water level 1"
