Just caught your thread and am interested to see how long they take to look whole again. I want to start doing this with my shrooms once my tank is more established. I have a large spotted shroom (kind of ugly but easy, thought he would make good gifts and a good one to practice on) and a colony or purples. Can you post some pics when they are regrown? Thanks and great thread!

I will post some pictures tonight. They are looking really good IMO. I will line them up on the bottom of the tank and get the macro lens out so as long as the fish cooperate I should be able to get some good shots.

Here are the new pics. As you can see they are doing pretty well and are almost back to being a full circle. I removed 3 of them from 3 separate rocks and put them on 1 rock. I figured I would try the other method people were talking about and so far I think the other folks are right. Put them on the frag and wrap them up. Next time I will do that for sure. Hope you enjoy.

Somebody was telling me these were some kind of Tonga Blue Stripe Mushrooms but I was thinking they were true blue mushrooms, Actinodiscus sp. Anybody know for sure. I have looked at so many mushroom pictures this evening I am seeing double.
