My Bullet Goby Is Killing Me!

Hi Everyone!
My Bullet Goby is driving me crazy. Ive had the fish for a cpl of yrs now and he does a GREAT job cleaning the sand. All day he cleans and cleans then he cleans some more. But in the last few weeks he's decided to completely cover my open brain with sand. The brain seems to be ok at night it puffs all up and dumps it off. Ive moved the brain twice to places harder for the goby to get to and for a little while he will leave it alone then after a few days he's back at it again. I'm not sure there is a solution to this problem it's just driving me crazy. Open brains like to be on the sand right? So if I place it up on a rock it wont be happy? Do you think the brain is getting food or something from the sand?
Thanks
Patrick

the goby is looking for food, not really cleaningthe sand. not extaxtly sure why he ha taking a liking to the brain.
yes the brain like the lower area and the sand, you can try having a few live rubble pieces close to it to see if that helps

I've found with open brains it's more important they be in lower light than it is that they actually be in the sand. I had one in my BB tank for some time and it was very happy in a shadowed area on the rock.

thanks Whiskey and Tim
I will try placing rock around the brain and see if that helps if not then I will try on a shaded rock. There are other corals on the sand bed as well and he never spits sand on them. Maybe he doesnt like green. I thought maybe he was trying to feed it or something.
