After looking around online, Im going to switch my lighting plans around. Since Im going HOB Skimmer, and obviously a light fixture thats on top, I think its going to stop there. Im not going to have a HOB, Current T5 fixture AND MH between the fixture and HOB. So Im leaning towards just selling the T5 set that Ive had for about 4 months, and trying to get $100 for it. and buying the Current Outer Orbit set up with the T5s and the 150w MH.

That would be enough light to keep Softies, mushrooms, and LPS like frogspawn, torches, or maybe a flowerpot, along with an anenome, and a Monti (obviously towards the top) correct? Also, would I even need the T5s in the fixture, or could I just get the MH by itself? The LFS who is running the same exact tank as me just has a Coralife 14k 150w clamp on light. But all that has are softies and one frog spawn.

yes you are correct on that,
i the HOB refuge and skimmer looks pretty good. you will not have to use any sand in the refuge part. ust some macro algae and or LR rubble.
sounds like you have things well in hand

Thanks, I was pretty stoked at a little less than $2 a lb. Especially how porous the underneath cavee part of it is. The whole kitchen smells like the LR now though lol
