My 29g Reef Tank - PICS!!
Hello all - was taking some new pictures of my 29g today - and since my other 2 tanks have their own threads in the build off - I didn't want this tank to be left out!
Actually - I just wanted a thread that I could link to in my signature and so that I can keep a thread of all the changes in the tank with pictures... So - I'm going to post some old pictures - then once they're uploaded - my new ones...
My earliest tank shot..
An early shot of my black o and the kenya tree that is now EVERYWHERE!
These 3 are a few months later - This used to be the right side - In this one - the toadstool didn't do well with my flame angel and went back - as did the orange o and it's anemone...
This used to be the left side... oh how little my arrow crab used to be...
Here's a FTS from that time too..
An older photo that I love
Ok - so there are some older ones... I'll be back with newer ones...

Hello again! Back with my newer photos...
Here is a FTS from today
A Right side shot - BTW - since my Kenya tree has fragged itself all over my tank - I'm going to trade in my big one so this is a goodbye pic!
And the Left Side - I swear - other than my Flame angel - all of the fish always stay on the left side! Crazy...
Also - there's baby black o at the top of that left side picture... I traded in my true perc for him... so hopefully my 2 black o's will pair up now!

Thanks - I love my fox coral - it's just getting so huge and happy.... I wish I could say the same thing for my flower pot - still cursing the LFS that sold it to me as my 2nd coral. It hasn't been looking good lately and I just don't know what I can do to save it...

You cant do much to save it. flowerpots never really last long in our tanks. Its kind of irresponsible for a LFS to sell you one IMO. Unless they give you the disclaimer. My LFS did the same with me before I knew better. You can try feeding it though, maybe. Try some oyster eggs, my LPS go crazy when I feed em a little. MAke sure to turn your skimmer and pumps off though.

Looks very nice. I like the open aquascape, it makes the tank appear bigger than a 29g.
DT's oyster eggs are good for all corals, if you want to get them, I just add them to the water column. Here is the store finder on the company website: http://www.dtplankton.com/shopfinder/main.php

LFS has oyster eggs. I like to mix em with some RODI water (or you can mix em with tank water even), and just inject em towards the mouths of the corals.

Man you are just hording all the cool clowns now arent you?
I agree, try feeding the flower pot, cyclopeeze may work too. Also adjust its position to get better flow might help.
I cant stand anyone who sells this coral to a newbie, so shady, but it happens every day.

Well - I have a new tank addition!! Tuesday I brought home a Sebae Anemone. I'm really excited about it and after my research - think that I can give it a good home. So wish me luck! So far things are going great...
Here it is when I first placed it in the tank. It is bleached - but I was able to buy it on the rock it was attached to - and I think that helped it's acclimation a lot.
And another picture from Day 1
In the past two days it has slowly crawled back and to the right just a little - back so that it's now touching the back of the tank and just a little to the right - it's still connected to the rock that it came on - just moved over on it a little bit.
Here is a picture of it with the sand sifter coming towards it...
So far it seems to be doing really good!

Oh - and here's a FTS from today as well... As you can see - the flowerpot is gone. It didn't make it. Still mad that my LFS sold me that as my first coral - and he even admitted later that it wasn't a good coral for beginners. I guess at that time he didn't realize that I planned on becoming an educated shopper! He's much better now. Also - I traded in the Kenya Tree - it was just fragging all over the place. The sebae looks compleltey white in this picture - but it's not... Not sure why the color is off - but I can't get a good FTS without it looking totally white?
My frogspawn is really getting huge...
