Hey Freck! Mushrooms reproduce several ways!
1. Budding--- When parent poyps lose small bits of their column, sometimes by injury or tear.
2. Laceration--- healthy specimens move over substrate, leaving behind tiny pieces of tissue from the pedal disc.
3. Fission---parent colony divides across the entirety of its surface.
4. Transverse fission----animal pinches off across its stalk, with the upper section eventually coming loose to drift and settle elsewhere.
5. Inverse budding----the pedal disc of the parent lifts up, rolls together, and forms a bud attached to the parent by its oral disc. Attached bud the folds downward to become reattached as a daughter colony.
6. Propagation: Go to this site
GARF and it will give you pointers on doing it yourself. Johnny
