Hello.



I have these shrooms that I got from a fundraiser for $10 and they said they were Hairy shrooms but they don't look like hairy shrooms and we guessed they were Ricordia. They are getting bigger and if you look closely at the pics below you will see that they have bumps around the outside of them. Ricordia just have bumps in the middle right? I have had these for a few weeks and they are the coolest looking shrooms.

Let me know if you have ever seen shrooms like this.

Might be ricordia yuma. Def not ricordia florida. I think most "hairy shrooms" are rhodactis and they don't look quite like those, but its a common name given to a few hairy mushrooms

im pretty sure they are Ricordia thats what it looks like iv seen a couple of those and thats they called them soo im pretty sure

There ya go...Pink Lemonade Rics...now you can frag them and sell them for twice as much cuz they have a fancy name!!!

Hairy shrooms dont usually have green mouths....

Love it! If you frag them - I'd even try to buy some since I helped name them! LOL!

Actually - I just think the are so pretty... would really like to find some for myself! Did you buy them online or from an LFS?

We have a small local board (as compared to TRT anyway) and the "owners" have had to spend quite a bit lately so we got together and organized a frag sale to raise some funds. It was a huge success with several LFS donating tanks and equipment for a raffle. We actually raised twice what our goal was!

Anyway...the rics where a donation to the sale so I don't really have any idea where they came from...I don't even know which user donated them...I see if I can rouse the original owner and see where they came from.
