Moving RO/DI

I am relocating my RO to the laundry room. the only problem is it's like 15 ft or so to the drums I have I cant move them closer because there are stairs. My question is I am about 3 feet from the water hook up. Will this affect the unit in anyway.

oh ok just asking I moved the unit to a more stable enviorement in the laundry room instead of the garage. So my run to the holding tank is farther away.
