Moving - Aqaurium & All

So I'm moving from my co-op to a house; still staying here in NY. Everybodys thrilled and going from a 750 Sq Ft, 1 1/2 bedroom, to 3500 sq' I hope will be easy.
So my aqaurium is the only tricky part that I havent figured out yet. I have had plans on re-doing it and now with the house move, I believe I can kill two with one. Forgetting about the re-modeling of the tank, how do i effectively move the tank and base and what should I be aware of?

It really depends on how much time you have to move. I would start by going to the local pet stores and getting some of the styrofoam packing boxes they use. just line these with a trash bag and fill with water and fish/coral. How much time do you have?

If you have 2 months to go from your old place to the new then i would start by setting up some fresh RO water at the new place and get it circulating. Could you post a pic of the tank so we know what we're dealing with. then i think we can get into the details. Plus, how far is the move in miles or time?

Moving blows. Good for you for posting this 2 months out, instead of 2 days!

how extensive are the changes you want to make? what size tank is this? good to get a game plan before the move.

Now is the time to make an upgrade or change if You want to make one, Not hard moving a tank. I just moved a 150 bowfront reef with a wet room with 32 other guys in a day. less then a day really.
