more questions on stocking refugium...

I'm trying to figure out if there are any other organisms I can add to my refugium that could be sources of live food for my display tank. Right now, the refugium has a breeding pair of pep shrimp, several varieties of macros, and a healthy population of pods and sandbed critters. Just curious if their is anything else? Is there a saltwater equivalent of a guppy, a small hearty fish that will readily reproduce (and not completely destroy my algae and pod populations) thus creating another food source? Or is that just a silly idea?

Get yourself some seabunnies from ipsf.com! I have not tried them, yet, but they sound like a good one for the refugium.

Those are Stomatella Vari, Inland Aquatics also sells them, I have them in my main tank. No need to put them in the refugium, just put them in the main tank and let them do their thing. Watch your refugium, peppermint shrimp like to dine all of the other things in there. You want to make sure they don't end up with everything meant for the main tank.
