Question

More New life!

Woohoo,

I just noticed some more new life that I can't identify, maybe someone else can.

This is the best shot I can get of it, it's not very big, but what the heck is it?

My peppermint shrimp died yesterday, tanks had some funky stuff in it (my fault - I feel bad, but I've learned now), so Im waiting on my LFS to get some more peppermint shrimp instock. They go on Mondays, so hopefully this week they'll be able to get some, last week, they said there were none that they could buy.

I had what some thought were aptasia, but turns out my pep shrimp wanted nothing to do with it, and because of the disc on top of the stem, many concluded that it was a polyp of some sort, but this one looks totally different from that one which was mistaken by quite a few on another forum to be aptasia.

This one seems to have distinct lines on the "arms". Kind of cool looking but if your not looking for it in the tank, it is easily overlooked. It couldnt be more than the width from tip of arm to tip of arm, than that of a standard #2 pencil eraser.

Yup, when I moved a wooden dowl near it, or almost touched it with it, it shrunk right back into a hole in the rock.

Do I NOT want to have rock anenomes?

When I went to this url
This Url

The photo shown is not anything like this one.
