more macros with a new host
Hi gang!
I was looking at others macro shots and got the itch to take some of my own.
I also opened an account with a free online host and I'm very happy with it... I would recommend it, and it was referred to me at a photography forum. My new host is fotopic.net.

You glue animals to rocks and keep them in glass houses, why would you need therapy , you seem fine to me

thanks Vince! I really like this host! Only problem is I can't figure how to post a pic directly in the forum by copy/pasting like I like to do. It may not offer that feature, but I like to post so many pics that this may be a better way to do it anyways.
Hey! Have you ever lost something, or found something in your tank that you forgot you had? Well I had the feeling that something was missing, and it was the "zoo from Mike" (see pics). It had fallen or was pushed and ended up behind a big mushroom so I didn't see it. I dug him out and ended up moving this and that, and in the process I found another little zoo that I had since October. I had forgotten all about it! No pic of that one, it's closed up tight right now and it only has 3 or 4 heads, but it was one that flouresced bright green so I hope it pulls itself around. So it's been a fun night playing in the tank and taking pics. I'm surprised the fw fish in the 72g have not retaliated yet, they have got to be jealous! lol!!!

hehe, lots of nice replies since I was babbling! Thanks everyone! Pics are the closest we can get to actually showing off our tanks, and since I don't get much company I compensate by posting lots of pics!

nice shots!! I really like the one of Lucy hunting in the Cheato! hehehe
as for embedding the images...it's possible, but not at ALL easy. I had to look at the source code for the page that shows the picture to get the URL (web-adddress) of JUST the picture in order to do this:
maybe tomorrow, I'll take a look, and see if there's an easy way to get the address of JUST the pic..as opposed the the whole page that shows the pic. (you need just the pic's addres...in teh above pictures case, it happened to be: http://images4.fotopic.net/?iid=ygnm...600&quality=70 which I got by clicking on that picture, then going to view->source then looking through the web-pages source code to get the image).
Now...if THAT didn't confuse you...not sure what will! hahahaha

ah-HA!
When looking at a picture...at the very bottom, if you click the "Full Size" button, it opens JUST the picture. Up in your browser, where is says "Address" if you copy that address and then click the image (yellow mountains) button and paste that address in, you can embed them!!
