More hermit crabs /snails?

My tank has been up for a month now. My live rock is very colorful and it looks great! I have 5 blue legged hermit crabs and 3 astrea snails. It looks like I am starting to get some algae growing on my substrate. It almost looks like a lawn starting to grow? A little on the glass as well. I also have some green bubbles growing on a rock? Is this bubble algae? Anyway, should I get more hermit crabs? My LFS told me to add them slowly? What should I do?

What size tank is it? have you tested the water? Sounds like bubble algae you are describing on the rocks. If the water test fine I would sure add a more diverse clean up crew.

It is a 46 gallon tank. I just tested my levels today, and once again they are all normal. I add the 5 hermit crabs and 3 snails on Wednesday.....What else do you suggest I add and how many of them?
