Moonlite. Night Light Or Reverse Photo??

Polls are fun to vote in and fun to watch the results. HOWEVER, I'm REALLY wanting to know WHY and the RESULTS you have achieved, while using these additions to your reefs. I'm considering a set of Blue LED Moonlights. I'm wondering if these really benefit the fish/corals, or are they just another way for us to intrude into a world that captivates us all?

Please take the time to vote and to explain your thoughts.

Phil

I really don't understand the poll, You are asking about moonlights and then Reverse Photo Period, white lights and moon lights, I really don't understand

moonlight will always be used oposite of the white lights, and they really do nothing to help the corals in your tank, may even do harm if to bright, no real need, just looks cool.

Don't understand, eh???

I'm asking how many of you use the Blue LED moonlights. Are these intrusive to the fish/corals and are they just feeding our obsession to be voyeristic into our tanks. I am also asking if the cycles used include reverse photoperiond to stabalize pH and keep photosynthseis from reversing in the macro nutrient export. Is there a magic formulae that optimizes all of these concepts and if so, what is it. I am seeking information from fellow hobbyist. It was not meant to be a tricky question.
