Question

monti eating flatworm???

Has anybody ever heard of a such a thing? I bought a montiapora today from a very good lfs, I put it QT and tonight I took it out to do the first inspection for nudis or anyother critters and low and behold I found nudis and what looks like a flatworm I have never heard of montis getting flatworms or of any treatments for monti flatworms(thank goodness for the qt tank!!!!!) The worm is a little less than 1/2 an inch when it stretches out to move and was found on the underside near a dead spot of the monti. This monti is a pink and purple spongiodies- that was in decent shape all the polyps were out but the color was not great so we picked it up at cost so the owner could recover the cost. I thought it just needed more light, once again thank goodness for the qt tank
If you know anything about this any info would be great!

*If I can get a good pic of this thing I will post it asap*

Yep, there are some nudi's that chow down on montipora species. I think they're relatively easy to get rid of, as they are large enough to manually remove with ease, and I think some wrasses will help irradicate them.

Actually they are a pain in the you know what to get these eggs out you have to look closely and scrape the eggs off manually.

well yes it def. has nudis and they are a pain to get rid of, but I am fragging the monti to trash the dead spots and scrubbing with a toothbrush the possiable areas for nudis. It is these worms I'm concerned about I can not seem to get a pic of them, I have only found 2 of them so far and that was after I dipped the monti in TMPCC. I just don't want to give up on a coral, if there is help out there, but I also do not want to eventually infect my tank if I miss something.
