Monterey Bay Area

Hello,

I'm traveling back home Tuesday to Carmel, California to spend a few weeks with my family on Tuesday. Does anyone know of good stores in the area? I won't be headed over the hill into San Jose, or into the cities at all, but might like to find some frags to bring back from my trip. Also open to other reef enthusiasts who might have frags to sell.

If you get a chance go see the Aquarium in Monterey. Also, don't miss 17 mile drive..it is a must see.

Very good advice! The Aquarium is beautiful, I have lots of pictures from my last visit home in December.

I grew up in Carmel, had lots of friends in Pebble Beach, 17 Mile Drive is indeed beautiful. My favorite always is my old stomping ground of Big Sur. Anyone who hasn't made that drive along the coast is surely missing an incredible experience. As many times as I've taken the drive, it still thrills me, it's definitely paradise.

We bought a shiny Bimmer over the weekend and Big Sur is on the immediate to do list. Carmel is just gorgeous as is the entire drive from Morro Bay all the way up Highway 1.

If you get any PM's about good LFS stores we can check them out on the way back down.
