Question

missing peppermint, found molt though i thought

well i saw a molt of a shrimpin my tank yesterday and i just left it there for my serpant star to eat which he did. but now i am wondering. I had my hand in the tank last night to put the new sps frags and zoas in but only 1 out of the two shrimps were out and crawling on me. this is odd because the both always did that. when shrimp die would they look like a molt or would they hide while molting and right after? either way the point of why i bought a serpant star worked. i bought himto eat dead fish/inverts i cant get or dont notice.

when an invert molts, they normally hide out for a few days afterwards. they're much more vulnerable with the soft exoskeleton. it'll show up again soon.

a molt is more hollow looking. If it was the carcass it would be alot more meaty then the molt. You could usually tell the difference.
