Micro bubbles with skimmer...

Hi everybody! I have a question about micro bubbles that my new coralife super skimmer 65. I have the skimmer in the tank (soon to be in the sump.... too busy this holiday season, come new year and it's a whole new thing) and it emits these micro bubbles that are a little unsightly to me.. Is this normal for skimmers? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

since it is a new skimmer i woudl say yes it is normal for now, they usally need a break in periode. as the skimmer becomes coated with a "slimy" coat your bubbles should almost go away

Also when you put it in your sump put it on the opposite end of the intake to the return pump and put a couple of baffles in between, it should help with the bubbles.

Chris, & Tim were right on the money let it break in, and move it around a bit, I have the same Skimmer, been there done that, once it is broke in youl love it,
