Micro Bubbles From Skimmer? Need Help

When my skimmer is running my tank is full of mico bubbles. But when I turn it off they magically disappear. I took the skimmer out cleaned out the pump and the cylinder and pluged it back in and still have bubbles.

is there a way that you could send the skimmer's output through the baffles near where the standpipe drains in the sump?

Yes, I can hook up a hose and send it thru the wet/dry sponge.

You either need some baffles or have too much water going through your sump too fast and carrying them back to your tank.

If the skimmer is sitting in a sump and the sump is too small to remove the bubbles, I usually put the output of the skimmer through a micron sock. That will take care of the bubble issue
