That is going to be one heck of a setup! The shots of the corals you already have are fantastic as well. I will be tagging along to watch this build as it progresses.

Good luck with everything!

As I mentioned I was not happy with the two stand idea, so I went back and made the frame for a single stand, carried the parts in, and assembled it in its final location. I'm SO much happier with the stand now. And of course, here are pics:

Just found out the back panel was cracked when being shipped from the glass supplier to AO, tank is now delayed a few weeks.

In the meantime, picked up my frag tank, a 30g breeder (36Lx18Wx12H) which was donated graciously from a local club member.

Also picked up the custom 100g sump/fuge, which was built by another local club member.

Good looking sump, should be plenty of space. Too bad about getting the tank cracked, though. My custom setup took so long to show up originally, i'd have flipped if it was busted.

jrpdriver - Thanks much.

crvz - fortunately it was cracked before it got to the tank builder, not at my place. I recently ordered a plasma tv, and the screen was shattered when it arrived. that was a PIA, I can't imagine having to deal with sending a tank back!

This looks like a very promising project! I'm all over this one! When do you expect to have it "completed"?

snow_man and kimsie - thanks!

aquasalt - hoping it will be up an running by the end of march (basically as soon as the tank arrives), then I'll build the bar around the tank in the next week or two after the tank is up and running.
