Maxi jet mod

So far I am impressed with it.

I did the mod to two of my MJs, it is a nice mod if you happen to have MJs just laying around and time to do the mod. I was expecting more than what I got. It is true that I got more water flowing for lower price than a Tunze; I guess for my application I still need more flow so I will end up getting a couple of Seios anyways and I could have left my MJ alone. So I am not sure I want to change my remaining MJ. This is how I see it:
New Mj = $17
Shroud = $6
propeller= $2
glue =$6
Air line =$1

that is about $32 give or take since I don't remember the exact prices. A new Seio 620 is around $35 and I don't have to do anything once I get it, and I get more flow. So needles to say, I have 2 extra shrouds and propellers for sale if anyone wants them.
I am not knocking it, it is definatly better than what I had but not enough for what I want.

Well, I posted on that other large reef forum a question about mj mods to see what kind of feed back I got and turns out a lot of guys have done it, someone even said the mod pushes more water than the Seio620.
