Love it, use it all the time... ... ... ...

NOT!!!

Do a search on "Marc Weiss" on the different BB's and you should get some pretty strong suggestions NOT to use his products. They are not proven and cause problems as often as not. Save your dinero IMO.

I try to go by what other people experience. Sometimes you come across something that actually works. I feed my dendronepthya (carnation coral) the stuff after it was told thats what it eats. Thats what THEY were feeding it anyway.

I dont like the look of it. To me it looks like I am dropping dirt into my tank. Everything seems to like the stuff I dont see anything BAD but I think when that stuff is gone I am going to try something like reef snow or something. I really dont like putting dirt into the tank.
I also dose DT phytoplankton
If someone gave it to you - use it.

I just typed out this long post and ended up deleting all of it. My flame proof drawers are in the shop right now . So I will say this; In my opinion....the problem with the Weiss products is their price. I have tried black powder and coral vital and reef Dna and noticed really no difference (either good or bad) in my tank. Plus, he wont list the ingrediants of the product. That is bad in my opinion. You should see what your spending $20+ on. Black powder, in my opinion, is one of the more obvious marketing hypes used by Weiss. Look at the big 'ol jar it comes in. Then, you open up the jar and find a small, 2oz baggy of "dirt". What does he need a big 'ol jar for when it only contains 2oz.'s????? So you think you are getting more????? Maybe...dont know. Maybe its just so he can fit more "hype" on the product.

Ok....gotta go....its getting hot in here.

Thanks for writing this Dennis, as it will save me the effort of typing it out tonight.

My exact feelings on this product.
