Macro Algae for fish to eat

The fish are a soon to be yellow tang and a hippo tang, maybe the banner fish?

By description it looks like the red algae will get devoured quickly.

I also read maiden brush/hair will be eaten by some species of tangs.

The sea lettuce will too correct?

I would like to have some growing for them to graze on and help with nutrient export. And look neat, any recommendations?

Eventually I will start trying to grow some in the sump for purely nutrient export (caulpra)

For me Ive not been able to grow decorative algae in tank that the fish love to eat. Cause they'll eat it all up and not leave anything behind. Growing in your sump sounds good.

My tangs won't eat halimeda so I grow that in tank.
